Need some help with the 4 link

I'm getting ready to order my parts for my 66 long fleet, and I'm not sure how to measure for the bars

I'm going to lay frame with it and I'm already set on the lower bars on the outside of the frame and the wishbone at the top. (not sure of the correct term for this setup) I just don't know exactly how to measure for this setup

Sorry about the crappy drawing

If I remember correctly someone here already used 31" for the lower bars from *****************, I just can't seem to find the thread

1. Is the lower bars measurement for length and pinion setup based on the frame being on the ground or at ride height

2. Should the bar be perpendicular to the ground at full drop.

3. I have no Idea on how to setup the wishbone.

I know I'm probably asking for a lot, but I you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great

Yes.. I'm going to set up the lower bars the same way, I'm just going to use a wishbone on top.

I guess the length of the lower bar all depends on where you want to mount it, But how did you determine where to weld the mounting tab to the axle tube?

Did you set the pinion at ride height or is there something I'm missing, also should the lower bar be parallel to the ground at ride height or does it matter?
I only ask because when I crunched the numbers it seems that the wheel will move in the wheel wells when going from flat on the ground to ride height.

Re: Need some help with the 4 link

Ok.. After searching like crazy all day.. Here's what I've come up with

1. the lower bars should be more or less parallel at ride height
2. length of the lower bars are dependant of mounting location the longer the better
3. The wishbone should be about -3 degrees from parallel to the ground at ride height.

Does this sound about right?
And I'm guessing the pinion angle should still be around -2 degrees at ride height.

I got a superlift setup from *****************. It's a super nice kit and it's BEEFY. Haven't installed it yet though.
