3/4 Ton drive train swap

What are your ideas on swapping 3/4 ton parts into a 1/2 ton. Here's what I got...
1. 1970 1/2 ton long bed truck with the classic 250/3 on the tree 3.73 gears
out back seems a bit winded on top end.
2. 1988 3/4 ton 3+3(crew cab) 350/400 combo with a 14 bolt 4.11 gears.

Ok I have many different reasons for wanting to do this, one is V8 duh , second and most important upgrade to power disc brakes. One down fall would be eight lug wheels. My initial plan for the truck is rat rod so the factory steel wheels painted red would be ok. The 3/4 ton has no title and is half dismantled.

Re: 3/4 Ton drive train swap

You'll think those 3.73 weren't so bad, that thing will scream with the 4.11's anything faster than 55. 3.73 with a 350 isn't bad/still fun.
