Anyone know anything about Roddoors

I was on their site today checking out their stuff. Has anyone used their stuff or know anybody who has? Pics would be great.

Cheyenneman,
One of the boards I visit for my "other project" had a thread recently regarding the install of one of the Roddoors headliners in a '53 F-100. It has several pics and the same guy used the door panels available from them, also. Here's the link.

Interesting reading...may be something applicable you can use.

Good Luck,
Kent

I won a $100 gift certificate at a show last year but it was never mailed to me. I gave up waiting. The stuff in the catalog is a little to pricey for me anyway.

I've bought from them before... waaaay pricey, though. A door panel is about $35 worth of ABS plastic and some vacuum mold work... but costs considerably more

i bought door panels, kickpanels, arm rest, door pulls, and carpet for my El Camino. I went by there place when i was up visiting up there. Took them 3 weeks to ship out the stuff. And it did not come all together. The guy there was also throwing in a couple bottles of glue- but he deniedsaying he was throwing them in. I dropped 800 there and they couldn't throw in sh*t. The overall interior looks good. I think this stuff is good but if you dont take your time with the install it wont look good. It takes time and patience to do. I should get some pictures of the door panels in my el camino.

I needed to make some custom kick panels that didn't have the cutout for the vents like their stock 67-72 panel has in it... so I bought some blank ABS... but since I didn't have the regular panel I asked them to stack one on top of the ABS and scratch an outline into the blank. First, they wanted me to ALSO buy a pair of the precut panels that I could use as templates. When he finally admitted that was nuts, he said he'd scribe the lines in the blanks for me for $10. At that point I gave in... so I paid $10 for somebody to scribe a line, and if you've ever worked with ABS, you know how absurdly simple this process is. Well, when I got the blanks, the scribes were more like fingernail scratches and they were waaaaaayyyy off (either that or their precut panel doesn't come close to fitting). Anyway, they can sell their panels to somebody else.

Well after hearing all this, I don't know if I will deal with them or not.
