New seat foam doesnt fit, wrong year?
Well I got everything stripped down, went to match up the foam and it doesnt fit my 76 seat. The back and seat bottom seem to be too short as well as not molded correctly. I got these from year one since their prices were about half what everyone else wanted. My old foam is on the right, new on the left. The packaging is was wrapped in lists it as 73-80, but the base has seat belt holes for 81+. Is the back for an 81+ also since it doesn't fit my back? Since this is like 3x oversize, it will cost a fortune to ship back. I dont know what to do now since everything is apart and i cant afford to buy another set a foams from somewhere else. My back isnt really too bad, the but the seat is on the drivers side.

That shape on the side of the seat bottom almost looks like a second row seat.

Those appear to be 80's foam...and look an awful lot like the front seat shape in my old 90 Suburban.

here is a seat I pulled for a 1985 1/2 ton long bed
And yes the seats interchange.

My seat does tilt foward. Apparently that foam is for 73-80 trucks with seabelts that go thru the seat. Anyways I will just sell locally and not bother trying to send that huge box back. I bought it on sale anyways so I'm not out that much. I just reused my old foam. I cant afford any more money being spent right now on another seat foam since most places cost a lot more then year one did. I must say this is the second time ordering with year one and both times have been disappointments.

Man that really burns me up!!!! I hate when u order something spend a lot of money and just about pull ur hair out waitin 4 it and then it shows up and it wrong or theres a problm wit it!!!!
