Any Blazer owners out there that have bought an aftermarket soft top? Want to get one for my 71. Whats the best. Both durable and good looking. Thanks

Well, you don't have a whole lot of choices. Specialty Top is the only company that I know of that makes them. If you wander over to ColoradoK5.com, there was a group of guys trying to get a group together to order tops and get a 15% discount. The only choices you have are button down or "fast track." I have an older Best Top (Specialty Top bought them out) that buttons down. It takes about 1 minute to put down and about 3 to put it back up. The sides and back roll up too.

Hmmm, I thought Specialty Top bought Kayline. AFAIK, Bestop is still in business, and they are the other company that makes a 1st gen Blazer top. Specialty's Fast Trak top is the best though.

Sorry, I meant Kayline. They are still in business and do make tops for the K-5. It's Monday.

K-line used to be the better top. The windows were closer in size to the original, while Best Top had smaller side windows that looked out of proportion. The other nice item Kline did was make the tops in any Jeep color/material. You could really come up with some nice striking combinations. Best were all black or white.

i have a kayline on my 73. it is great for in the summer. it goes up and down in no time. i just do not like the way it angles down in the back. i would like to find one that has a back that is straight up and down like the stock hardtop.

I've been looking at the Fast Track design. Simply because I dont want to drill holes and mount snaps onto the bed. If anybody has pics of their's, send them my way. Thanks

There was a post on CK5 the other day about Specialty Top making their tops in different colors. One guy just ordered an off-white top. I think he was going to post pictures when he gets it installed.

I think the new Fast Trac top has a more vertical window. You should go to the Specialty Top site and check it out. I too, didn't like the slope back old top but think I will get a Fast Trac.
