Pic of 3 60-66 trucks rotting away

Today I was driving back from getting some parts for my Longhorn project and I saw these trucks. I took a picture just because. It doesn't seem like you see many of these trucks laying around any more and if you do, they usually are rusted out beyond repair.

Sorry it's so small. My phone must not like taking distant pics.

Shoot, a lot of times when you see trucks sitting like that and go ask the owner about them you get told "I'm gonna' get 'em runnin' one of these days".... and they will be saying that 10 years later too.

I like the ones that have a preemptive "Not for Sale" sign in front of them.
You might as well just go ahead and bury the owners in them.

They are on a back road south east of Norwalk, on the east side of the road. I can tell you how to get there if you would like.

Re: Pic of 3 60-66 trucks rotting away

Some of them will sit for years, until someone expresses an interest and then the owner acts like he is sitting on a pot of gold.

Maybe someone can rescue them and pump another 40 years of life back into them.

Rest assured, these won't rot away!
