classic truck magazine

Hey guys,
I need to tap into some of the knowledge on here. Last month I was at the Goodguys car show in Texas. There was a lady selling subscriptions to magazines. I wanted to get the classic truck and custom classic truck magazine subscriptions. She had a deal that was 2 years $40.00 for both magazines. Does anyone know how to contact her? I lost her number and want to get that deal she had. Thanks

Re: classic truck magazine

I think that's a show only deal, you have to do it then or you don't get that price, that's my understanding from them at the Colorado Nat's show.

Not to hijack your thread, but do you have any other pictures of the truck in your avatar? If so, I'd love to see them.

Re: classic truck magazine

I'd be wary about giving them money up front for 2 years subscription. Source Interlink, the parent company of both those magazines, declared bankruptcy a few months ago. You're likely to get stiffed.

Yup. Magazines are dropping like flys. Kind of unfortunate, but they are too expensive to produce, and most of us now get free info on the net.

...... Closed mine after 20 years, video killed the radio star....
Watch for Source interlink to drastically pull 1 major move, combining duplicate publications they own, such as 4 mustang magazines, 5 Chevy based magazine titles, multiple circle track and yes... multiple truck magazines.

CCT editor John Gilbert has recently been popping in on the 88-98 forum. Said he'll be with a new truck mag. Early to late trucks. It adds up Kevin.
Like many I am letting some of my subs run out. Actually I'm not renewing any mags in the near future. Not because of the internet mind you. It's just time for something new. I dropped CarCraft because of Friedbooger, then he left and now he's back in HotRod and CC, again. Sheeeesh

I think Grant only hangs out on the Ford truck board and The Jockey Journal, I don't know why he doesn't come around here, we're awesome.
