there are quite a few different insulators. here are 2 different ones. one is pretty uncluttered while the other is overloaded.
where I inserted those little pieces of wood is what has to be removed if that is the type of insulator that you have and is more than likely the only ones that you can get now. you can do a clean job of cutting and it will look like that is the way that, that should look like. i did notch mine
