Horror Story

The other day while riding around i saw a 32Ford highboy roadster parked in front of a body shop so i stopped to check it out damn that thing was beautiful!!! it was just finished with the final buffing and detailing. so anyway i see in the paper that some kid in one of those rice cars lost control at 80mph in a 35 hopped the curb dead center totally destroying the deuce and in the process killed himself!!! can you imagine spending over 50thousand on a car an having the body shop call you and tell you there's nothing left!!!!

Can you say "Darwin Award" ? Good riddance!

I'm sure it was insured. Gives the guy a chance to build something new and even more exotic. I Saw a beautifull '32 and a Cobra replica traveling together yesterday. I was telling my wife that actual cobras fetch well over 100G and she couldnt believe me. " But you can't even put anything in the trunk" . Typical woman.

That's sad.... If only the kid's father would have taught him the true meaning of an automobile. The ricer kids around here are insane! At every stop light there is an opportunity to race for them. It's a shame.........

decades ago they drove '57 Chevy's.....now they all drive Hondas. this has gone on since the advent of the automobile - and it will ever change. i have no ill will towards a particular make or model of car. i do agree that this all goes back to the parents. teach your children NOW to make the right choices in life. i feel for the parents of the kid who died. he made a bad choice and paid the ultimate price.

On the brighter side, at least the dumbass didn't kill anyone else. Sucks about the car though, especially if it was a steel body. They are getting fewer.
