Re: Well, I Finally Bought The Green Truck
I know what you mean, looking for the right one. That is such a cool truck. I missed one several years ago I wished I would have looked harder at. A 1970 2WD plain jane 6 cylinder Blazer. Thought, I will try to get one later... Haven't seen another I think it was had for 2500 bucks! Double kick in the pants! Great truck and thanks for all the advice in the past!

Re: Well, I Finally Bought The Green Truck

The truck was delivered today and after replacing the battery and adding a little brake fluid I took it for a shakedown cruise. It is amazing how well this thing runs. BLAZERMAN: Thanks Rob. No 4x4 for this one. The guy I bought this one from also has a 4x4 he wants to sell. Dark Blue, body off, really nice truck. If someone showed up at his place with $8500 cash I think they could own it. bigdon-70blazer: Thanks for the kind words Don. I have been watching this one for a long time. JDL: Hey Jim, I'm sure you have seen this one a time or two. I may have to make a trip down to look at the '71. GOPAPA: Thanks PaPa Larry, yes the rims will have to come off but not necessarily because I don't like them. ![]() LockDoc

Re: Well, I Finally Bought The Green Truck
I remember that truck Leon. Glad you got it. I do agree, it has the wrong grill.
