Re: custom gauge clusters?
Here is what I did in my 77. Its basically Equux gauges from Kragen in the the stock housing.
Here are a couple threads that have good info on gauges and a bunch of ideas. The second thread has some good ideas I wish I had seen before I did mine. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=331910 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=180608

Re: custom gauge clusters?
Photobucket is blocked at work so I copied a link to the post with the pics I am refering too.
I cut the black metal piece that goes over the stock gauges so I had a spot to mount the smaller ones. Then I cut a piece of metal to mount the speedo and tach. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...8&postcount=11 This post shows the cluster going back together and the wiring on the back. Not my best wiring, I will prob redo it this winter. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...3&postcount=24 I still have to make some adjustments to the gauges. They are off enough to annoy me. Also in that thread I took pics of the LED's I will use for the high beams, turn signals and parking brake warning.
