Brakes Frozen?
I'm asking this question for somebody else.
He just bought a '76 and when they tried to pull it off the trailer, the front brakes were frozen. What can cause this to happen? Rust and/or corrosion maybe? I really don't know anything about the truck, just told him I'd see if any of you guys knew anything.  If it were me, the first thing I would do is bleed the brakes to see if there's a bunch of air in the lines. What do you suggest? Thanks,

I would check for frozen calipers and also the hoses. I bet the calipers are bad and need replaced.

Replace everything.
Calipers $12 each= $24 Brake hoses $20= $40 Pads $25 Brake parts are too cheap for our trucks not to do it right!

when i bought my TA, it had semi metallic brake pads on it. after sitting for 2 years, they rused to the rotor. my guess would be either that, or frozen calipers.
