Question need help w/67-70 C20 front disc conversion

I know there is someone out there who has done this swap, but I would like to do it from the balljoint/outer tie rod.I have 72 spindles, ball joints, booster,MC,calipers, and rotors. What is the minimum changes I have to make on tie rod ends?My truck is a 69 GMC 3/4 ton 2WD.Also have a buddy who has a 67 and a 68(both 3/4 ton) that wants to do the same swap on both his trucks. He also want to change from the balljoint/tie rods out.Any info would be greatly appreciated. We are both on low budgets, so the cheaper the better.
