I tried to purchase one about 6 weeks ago and found them to be a very rare part. If you find them, be ready to spend the bucks. I found it easier to shave the firewall. If you are going with aftermarket air, they have a non factory plate thats made of plastic.

Yeah,, all my projects have got the shave..but not my very first one, that has already been painted.trying to keep my first project original...

Jeremy, today may your lucky day. I have 2 for under the hood. I'll sell you the better of the 2 for $125 shipped. it still retains it's original black paint from a low mile Florida truck. OR I can make you a detailed template and provide pics for absolutely free, if you want to fab one up. I have provided several of these templates to other members for free and all seem to be very pleased.

these things are becoming murder to find. pm me or post to this thread if you have any questions!!

and..... if you don't locate an interior plate, I can get detailed dimensions from the one I have. it is VERY close to the size of a radio delete plate, and frankly you would not be able to tell the difference when painted and in place of the heater control panel.

if you really want an interior plate, you may see if Classic Bowties has one for the interior he would part with. I've only seen one of those in my 3 years of looking. OUCH!
