Quick ratio steering?
Is there a quicker ratio steering box avalable for the 1973-87 1/2 ton trucks. Miin kinda reminds me if an 87 KW. I'm sure the wife would like a little quicker steering.

Re: Quick ratio steering?
I remember seeing a company called AGR that made one for these older trucks. Maybe they used to and do not anymore?

Re: Quick ratio steering?
They changed the gear box design in 1980 so I'm looking for an 80-91 truck outside the frame rail gear box to see if I can swap the quick ratio guts from an 80's quick ratio IROC gear box into it.
I will pick one up the next time I am out at the pull it yourself wrecking yard and give the guts swap a try. Two gear boxes and a rebuild kit will run me about $85 but I already have the IROC box and will need the rebuild kit for it anyway so it will really only cost me $25 and some time to give it a try. This is a pretty low priority project for me since it is for the 67 C-10 that is far from drivable so it may take me a while to get to it.
