So I was at work today and like every other day, my truck was on my mind. A friend came to see me and was asking me how I have been. Talked with him for a bit and told him how I had sold my 2004 Subaru STI that I had only owned for a short time and bought a 1967 Chevy C10 that I was gunna do a restomod on. He looked at me puzzled and asked why, and thats when the theme/ name came to me. I replied....cause Im FED UP with the crap they have been making and especially new cars, that I wanted something that was simple, clean, easy to work on with out needing a computer or dealer only tools, and wanted to fullfill my dream. So there it is..."Project FED UP".

Its going to be a clean, and simplistic build. I want to build a ride that is dependable, head turning, and outperform/outlast all the cars being designed today. They just dont make them like they used to! Little insight... Im an alignment tech for Les Schwab Tire Company. So I replace front end components, brakes so forth all day long and get to experience first hand the assinine engineering of today. Dodge/chrysler is the worst of them!!!

Cool truck! Are you going to put a normal bed on it or stick with the flat bed? See you have some replacement metal on the seat, have you ever done metal work before? And I don't know what it is about those darned gun racks, it seems every beater someone buys has them on it. Mine had the same gun rack when I bought it haha.

Well when I bought the truck the guy had sold the original clip, but I got to see it with that clip on it before I picked it up, and he gave me the 68 clip, two extra doors, and a complete fleet side box. But the box is in SUPER bad shape so Im just gunna scrap it. Im probably gunna end up running the flat bed for a short time while I save up some money and do a few other mods/repairs and then just buy a new box for it. And yea those are rockers you see...but they are cheapos and not worth using...I'll give them to anyone that wants to pay the shipping and try and use them. I have done some metal work in my day...not as extensive as I will be into this truck but I used to work in a body shop back in my highschool days. Lol and I dont know about the gun rack but I agree...mine will def. be removed.

Hanging dead animals. Maybe you should keep the gun rack. Looks like it might come in handy.

Yesum, thats a couple quartered elk hanging (or at least thats what I told the cops when they asked why my gf was missing) lol but really its elk

BB's, 4 Spd.. Just a few of the eye catching options that stand out. Some real work to be done S/M wise but looks like a good start on a project to me. Good luck.
