Re: Aluminum Slots & Tires
This is just what I heard. Hopefully some one else can shed more light.
16.5" rims are obsolete. Now, there is not the selection of 16.5" tires available, so getting that pefect fit and compound may not be feasible. Did you get 16.5" slots? I think this will give a good answer to the question. |

Re: Aluminum Slots & Tires
I bought 15 x 8 old style slots that were on a 6 lug Chevy pick up with drums and I am putting them on a 6 lugs 69 Chevy with drums
I will be OK right? |

Re: Aluminum Slots & Tires
Of course, 75 a wheel. you must be kidding. That is the classic look for our trucks. Classic looks never go out of style... They are always copied.. Good score..

Re: Aluminum Slots & Tires
I`d pay $300 a set for polished slots like that,at least.I have bought 9.75 x 16.5s,which aren`t obsolete, for $300 a set bare and needing polished. These wheels are just like these trucks. They don`t make them anymore, there will never be anything made nicer,if you find a nice one you should be willing to pay for it.
