really high idle on cold start

I have the same carb, and symptoms. all it is, since its cold the choke needs to get to a certain temp to disengage. but to get it to come off faster, just take a screwdriver, move the throttle linkage wide open, and you will see a slotted screw. back off the screw thats in the back about a turn and see what it does. also, its best when its completely cold, and when its off or else it will flood. hope this helps
