The Dropmember V3.2 is the latest addition to the Dropmember family! It’s round tube structure, strengthened and accented with CNC cut plate make it both structurally rigid and aesthetically pleasing. Other advantages of the new design include: a significant weight savings of just over 10lbs. from it’s predecessor ; and a sleeker, more custom appearance. The Dropmember V3.2 is constructed of 1.5” DOM tubing and .188 pickeled plate. Available for the C10 chassis years 1960-1987.

Dropmember V3.2-

Dropmember V3.2 Stage I kit-$1099 (and free shipping anywhere in the continental U.S.)

Stage I kit includes main crossmember, inner frame support plates, upper control arm/bag mounts, motor mounts (SBC, BBC, LS1, I6), upper shock mount relocators, tubular transmission crossmember, frame notches for rack and pinion clearance, billet rack mount bushings, billet tie-rod ends with hardware, all necessary hardware for kit installation, and instructions via e-mail.

Dropmember V3.2 Stage I kit-

Dropmember V3.2 Stage II: $2100-
Includes Stage I components, plus upper and lower tubular control arms (add $100 for 4130 Chromoly upgrade), ball joints, delrin bushings, billet upper cross-shafts.

Dropmember V3.2 Stage II kit-

Dropmember Control Arms-$1099
(offered in DOM tubing or upgrade to 4130 chromoly for an additional $100)

Complete set FREE shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. (Includes upper and lower control arms, machined Delrin bushings, billet upper cross-shafts, and ball joints)

Porterbuilt Street Rods is now offering it’s own line of C10 control arms to be used with the Dropmember, or factory C10 crossmember. The arms have been designed to work with either factory 73-87 control arm bushings, or machined Delrin bushings offered through Porterbuilt. Factory replacement ball joints from 63-87 press into the lower arms, and bolt-in to the uppers. Ball joint angles have been corrected, and additional caster added

"and additional caster added"

What's this mean considering the caster is adjusted in the shims? Sorry, still learning.

Shims will adjust the castor, but won't change the amount of castor built into the arms design.

For example, lets say we start with 2 degrees of castor, and by adding shims we can get up to 2 more degrees... that equals 4. But if we start with 4 degrees of castor, we can end up getting 6 with the shims. Hope this explaination helps!

Yep I am thinking a set of upper C4 arms with adjusted BJ angle's would fit right in here with the rest

That's right... the new tube version replaced the old one. Stronger, lighter, and better looking! Why go backwards?

I know there have been several guys who own the earlier version that would like to upgrade to the new one. Keep your eyes peeled, as a good deal might pop up.
