97 Blazer Vin W and Vin V swap

I have a 97 blazer with a bad motor. I picked up a 97 motor out of a S10 pickup. The problem is that mine is Vin W I think it is called SPI ? (I dont have my book in front of me) and the S 10 is Vin V TBI. Can I just swap the intake and put it in or are there any other differences. Plan is to put them side by side and swap what needs to be swaped?

Re: 97 Blazer Vin W and Vin V swap

Im not coming up with a "V" vin code for a 4.3? 96 & up '"W" & "X" will swap no problem. "Z" & "B" are TBI motors and heads are different. 95 and down "W" engines use a different style intakes that are all aluminum VS the plastic upper on the 96 & up and are speed density systems (no mass air flow sensor)

Taking a picture whould help
