One piece side windows

These questions are for those of you that have done the one piece conversion,

Having done it what is your overall opinion?

Do they rattle or have air gaps etc...?

Are some kits better than others?

Can it be undone or does it destroy some part of the door?

Would you do it again?

My doors are ready for primer and I'm torn between staying stock or going with the one piece kit,

I have used a Brothers Truck parts kit it was a quality kit and came in several glass options. I got the smoked glass. It was easy to install. I put it in a truck for a friend of mine. It is personal preference. I prefer old school vents.

I installed a Brothers kit on my truck about 9 years ago when I painted it and it was a royal PITA and by far the biggest regret of anything I've done to my truck. Not happy with how they stayed-hard to roll up or down unless the door is open. I followed the detailed instructions to the Tee but still a horrid waste of money and time in my opinion. Not a happy camper. I wish I would've kept the vents/oldschool look.

I love the look of the no vent windows but will most likely stay with the wing windows as I like the air they draw in when I don't have ac and it gets hot here in the summer.

Yeah, I really regret not keeping those vent windows. That's just a little feature you see in mostly 60's vehicles and I really miss that look. Oh well, one day if I repaint my truck I'll just buy new doors and look for the older type hardware.

Thanks for the input guys, based on everything I've read I think I'll stay with the stock vent windows,
