If you're putting bags in the back, anyway, put new friction pads in and call it a day. What I would do is just make the ones you have match each other, put in new friction and buy beer with the money I saved.
Edit: I forgot to menion it sounds like you may have one 1/2 ton spring and one 3/4 ton.
