71-72 front disk brakes

I have for sale a pair of loaded spindles, drag link, and other misc front end parts from a 71 C-10 with disk brakes. I believe I have all the stuff needed to transform a 67-70 truck over to disk front end. This crap is heavy and I would prefer local pick up. I would take $75.00 OBO for the parts. It is extra stuff I have sitting around, hopefully it would help someone out that is close by. I can get pics, but not for a day or two.

I would rather you come here to pick them up, I work extremely odd hours and am "on call", would be hard for me to do it...not saying I wouldn't, but prefer not to. The rotors look to be in good shape (they have surface rust from sitting around, but would not even need to be addressed, one or two brake applications would clean them up) as well as the calipers, worked fine on the truck the came off of until it was disassembled, I only changed them out because I went with drop spindles from an 85 truck, rotors and calipers would not work on those spindles.

I have some other parts I would throw in with the deal if you come here to look at them, I have the drag link with all the tierod ends, the sway bar with the mounting brackets, two good upper control arms, one good lower control arm, and other misc items to help in your change over to disks.

I want to get rid of this stuff, will take $60 for the loaded spindles, calipers look fairly new. Any other parts associated with the front end will be negotiable. I also have a set of brand new rubber brake lines that hook to the calipers, would throw them in for an additional $25 (costs me $60).

They are 5 lug, I might ship, but buyer would have to pay actual shipping charges, as heavy as they are I would guess they would have to be shipped in 2 boxes and the charges for shipping I am sure would be very high. If interested I could check with fed ex or ups to get a quote on shipping, I am guessing it would be in the $50 range to ship them.

In my original post I stated I would not ship, I am considering it now, but Canada? I have never shipped anything out of country before, I guess I could check on pricing, however I have one person ahead of you through a private message. Please post in thread before pm me, thanks a lot less confusing for all.

Hi,
I will be in NC visiting a friend in January, and would have them shipped to 27028, by Fedex ground, if it gets to me to purchase. I would appreciate a shipping quote.
Thanks,
John Dooling

I haven't decided on shipping yet, I originally listed these parts hoping to help out a local member. I am still thinking about the shipping, probably going to be a huge pita. The parts I have are a set of loaded spindles, the drag link with inner and outer tierod ends as well as the idler arm (no pitman arm or steering box) and the sway bar with the mounting brackets. I will let you all know if I decide to ship, am leaning toward not shipping because I don't really need the headache of boxing the stuff and getting shipping quotes, but will let you know by the weekend. Thanks for the interests though.

Re: 71-72 front disk brakes

I think I will not ship these items, I don't have time to mess with it. Just local pickup only, but thanks for the interests guys.
