I saw that truck awhile back and just couldnt put my finger on what was different about it... It was the painted trim... Cool idea, but I think the real thing looks better.... But I love the clear bed, thats cool....

Nice truck but his description is a bit odd. Check out what an engine rebuild consists of!
THIS TRUCK WILL FLAT MOVE AND IT IS THE NICEST 72 ON EBAY RIGHT NOW. I GOT IT UP TO ABOUT 75 ON THE HIGHWAY NO PROBLEM. IT IS POWERED BY A CHEVROLET 350 SMALL BLOCK WITH A TURBO 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE 350 SMALL BLOCK WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT WITH CUSTOM HOSES, BELTS, NEW BATTERY, PLUGS, WIRES, DISTRIBUTOR CAP, FLUIDS AND MORE. He also must be a dare devil taking it up to 75!! J/K I would park it in my fleet once I added a new bed floor. Kevin LFD Inc. |

It's A LOT less work just to put the trim on. But, it is unique for sure.

Re: Nice 72 SWB on Ebay with all the trim airbrushed on
Went and looked at this truck a couple of weeks ago. Not that nice. It's certainly a driver. A lot of misalignment of doors and hood and shows chips/rubs in those areas. Gas cap is glued on to the cab with a bed fill tank. Don't get me wrong, it could be a pretty nice driver with some attention, but not as nice as it looks in the pics. Strange thing is, no VIN plate anywhere and there was mention of a theft on the vehicle. This is at a local lot that sells a lot of high end cars. He had some REALLY nice cars in the place and some REALLY rare ones but this truck is just "OK". It's one of those places that doesn't even want to talk to you if you don't have an appointment.

Does it look like the kick panel is in the way of the parking brake?

Re: Nice 72 SWB on Ebay with all the trim airbrushed on
I'm glad i read this thread.
A few weeks ago I had planned on going and looking at this truck (about 4-5 hour drive), but decided not to. I noticed a few small things in the pics that made me think it wasnt probably as slick as it appears or once was. I have since purchased a different C-10 & this confirms I made the right decision. |
