72 stepside
My 72 C-10 with 350 turbo starts in all gears. nuetral safty switch? where is it located? thanks for any info.

the neutral safty sw is n the steering column down near the floorboard// theres 2purple wires for the safty sw ,previous owner maybe jumped them together bypassing the switch

if it was originally a manual shift truck, then there isn't provisions for the switch at all.
I normally say something like put it in park before shutting the engine off and it'll never be an issue. Welcome to the board from central ohio! |

My shifter was sloppy and slipped down into drive while my switch was out and I started the truck. Banged the curb so hard I had to replace a tie rod end and everybody was staring at me. Get that sucker replaced!
