Steps on fleetside bumper

Does anybody have any pictures of steps that goes on the rear bumper of a fleetside? I had a friend call me and said he had two on his rear bumper. They are mounted on the bumper that is not a step bumper but the original flat style. Just have not seen this before.

Never seen a step on them, I do remember welding a step onto an army truck bumper so the short driver could check the oil...could it be something like that?

On my 70 4x4 short bed, I installed a 98 Suburban rear bumper and everyone thought it looked stock.
I liked it so much I just picked up another one and Im going to put it on my new 72 4x4
