What did you use for a rear bumper? What mods was required to make it work?Got pics? Also any trouble getting tail lights to work? Thanks in advance

All the "Sportside" beds I`ve seen on 67/72 trucks have used the Sportside bumper or a roll pan.

Here is a picture of mine. It was installed by the previous owner. The bumper looks like the factory one that come with the stepside. I will get a picture of it for you tonight.

i installed a 91 stepside0n my 72 short bed. had to notchrear cross supportto get right height. i shaved rear step and installed roll pan. shaver kit is available on line.very easy to install!!all the best. joe

PO installed mine. I think he used the sportside bumper. Installed a blazer tank under the bed. He relocated the filler neck to behind the fender. It was still hard to fill so I went with a cool cap filler through the bed floor. Am thinking of going with a roll pan, and LED tail lights. Sorry this is the only rear picture I could load.
