Do you know where a guy could find more pictures of this truck. The link does not work. Is the magazine no longer published? I wish I could see that issue. Thanks Matt |

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
I made a copy from my issue of the Truck Builder article on Rick Parsons truck, you can download it here in PDF format.

Re: Project 50th C5 Blazer
I got a little clean-up done to the new winter driver, I swapped out the grill and took the really bent bumper off and in place put the free slightly bent bumper on.. Still it looks way better to me already. I also noticed while doing an oil change I have the front left axle seal weeping a bit. Guess I had better take care of that right away... Here is a shot of how it looks today.
I did spend a couple of minutes trying to see if there was any shine left to the paint, at least it can look respectable for the winter. Turns out that it comes back pretty easy. If you look on the hood, you can see the spot I cleaned and waxed. Back in the shop it goes to give it the once over. ![]() I also had to remove and re-do the power steering brackets, the PO. had left two bolts out and it was allowing the pump to move around, and the belt was slipping.
