Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Mines not much better in that area, I do have a truck bed I'm parting that is mint in that section. Wheel arch is the same, would just have to tie it in at the door line. I can get pics of that if you are interested. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
my door line is good, just the corner and into the bottom of the wheel arch. truck section would be just fine as long as it works. also, can check the driver side wheel arch? i replaced my driver side quarter panel and for some reason it did not come with the wheel arch indentions. would probably need no more than half the arch line, back half side. if you dont mind, can you post some pics of both? i would prefer the driver side wheel arch to be from the suburban so i know its an exact match...unless you have one from a bed. thanks!

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
Wheel arch pics for KEV2809.Passenger side of truck arch looks good. Drivers side of sub has rust and the truck is dented pretty bad on that side. I have another truck bed I can check the drivers side on. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
the first pic would be the driver side rear wheel arch right? i would probably need right about where the dent is above the blue paint...all the way to the bottom of the wheel arch. all about an inch and a half wide so i can cut to fit. heres about what i need...
the main part i need is the blue line which is the body lines on the wheel arch, but i would like it cut up to the red line if possible so i can cut it to fit. on the other side, i think i might need that part off of a burban. the truck area seems to round there.

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
I should have labeled my pictures for you. The one you drew on is the passenger side, front of the wheel arch. Thanks, Sharpie

I'm interested in the E-brake cables, cable holders, and trans hump if available.

Re: Parting 1972 K20 suburban
oops, lol, I thought it was the other side. do you have a good side like that? you don't have to drill out the spot welds, I can do that.

Dennis,
Does the burb have a factory type (not home made) trailer hitch on it? Rick |

Hi Rick, the hitch looks homemade. Your headliner package is going out UPS today. Thanks, Dennis
