I have a 56 headlight switch it is fused and it has contacts on it, I want to replace it with a newer style to get rid of contacts and built in fuse. Does anyone have any suggestions or aftermarket sites that will work. I did find Autowire site has any one used this type on Truck? I am using painless 12 fuse panel and mid eightes van colum.

Re: Headlight Switch Question?
They are all going to have contacts of some sort. If your talking about the visable contacts, thats actually a curcuit breaker so you don't go with out lights. You can a later model switch.

Re: Headlight Switch Question?
You will need a relay with any newer switch, they will wear out quick if you wire it straight to the lights.
