But at least I have a place to park out of the weather. If it rains, I just slip the waterproof bonnet on the filter and chamois off when I get home.
Joe,
that is one badass daily driver

Thanks Red rumbler And BGRAFX! I really like my brothers truck I was there since he bought it.. entire truck was like flat black or primer.. or suface rust. The difference was truly amazing. Im surprised kinda you havnt seen that paint before. But your prob a youngin like me hehe. with a nice truck tho ;o Yea that black paint with mutli colored stripes going down the fender and then up over the cab.. I mean i wasnt alive then but my dad said a million times its the same as the stock paint when he bought it off the floor in 77. Shhh but... Afew times my brother has told me he wish he spent all the money on a mean ass monster 4x4 hehe, There are quite a few reasons i think he said that. Buut i wont say anything else hehe

One thing i like to say is my truck will never ever look as good as some of the trucks out there but, You will never ever have as much fun in some of the trucks out there that you will in mine when shes done hehe

oh and for all thos lucky bastards posting about 50 dollar rustless cabs...for a rustless perfect cab around here try like 1000$ lol The box i just bought for my truck was steeeeel heh. Bran new box sides.. a stock GM tail gate with like NO rust on it.. ( i already have 2 Chevy tail gates so im tryin to sell that but ) yea.. Perfect tail gate.. Perfect box sides.. and a decent bed for 400 bux.. cant beat that around here. Pluse i am 100% i can sell that GM tail gate for 100 bux easy. My dads friend has a truck like the ones i posted up above.. spent 1100 on a box.. and when they painted it... sandblasted stuff had to be filled. But yea.. box was 1000 and he paied a extra 100 dollars for a GM tail gate not as good as the one i got. So really i got the box for 300.. steeeelllz =D I got some questions but im going to toss them into a different section.. This thread is for the piczzz. But thanks everyone =D

Re: who fires it up every single morning

Its really cool to see some guys in here from oklahoma. I miss living there sometimes. Thats were i was exposed to the notion of TRUCKS and cars and actually working on them and building them up. All my room mates had hot rods or trucks. I couldnt help but go out and help them tinker and learn about engines because thats all everyone kind of did. The first square body that i thought was cool was one of the fastest and nicest looking ones i have seen back in Ada.

Re: who fires it up every single morning

When my 84 Crew Cab is done its going to be my daily driver to work and home about 31 miles each way
thats why i keep it diesel for the millage if it wassent for that it would have gotten the big heart transplant 572 CUI with 3 predators
she might get that one day...

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.
