Correct Rims on '51 Chevrolet??

Can anybody please tell me if the rims on this truck are correct to the year 1951 for the Chevrolet 3100 Pickup truck? Is there a resource for determining the factory rims? Thanks!

16" were standard, 15" were optional.

Thanks. They're actually 17", so i would guess that means they're not factory.

Re: Correct Rims on '51 Chevrolet??

Are you measuring across the outside of the rim?? If so the "size" is a little less than that measured at the tire bead. You might have 16" size wheels which would measure around 17 actual.
