Couple questions:

1) Why are you concerned about the title if you're swapping everything around? Just register it with whatever cab you put on it.

2) This is hindsight I realize, but I'd NEVER have picked up that truck without knowing what I was in for. I've seen too many long drawn out issues that cost a lot of money to clear up.

I do not have a title for either the 71 truck or the cab.

It started out as a cheap 4x4 truck that I was going to part out as the body is rusted bad, but then I bought a near perfect cab within a week and thought of putting the two together. It was an afterthoought after buying two good deals for resale. If it is a hassle or costly to title I will just go with the original plan of selling them.
