Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

265/35 front 285/35 rear seems to be the most common set up for 22's. Most use 8.5 and 9.5 or 10 but I suppose it's not required

Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

Just check the range of recommended rim widths for each tire size....

A few examples from TireRack:

265/35-22.... 9" to 10.5"

285/35-22.... 9.5" to 11"

295/30-22.... 10" to 11.5"

Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

It looks like, as long as you have at least a 9.5" to a 10.5" rim than you can go with any of those sizes you listed. Good luck!

Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

well after all the fuss i have decided to stay pretty basic and just do a 265/35/22 all the way around seeing as they are only 9 inch rims all the way around

Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

That's probably the wisest move.

Re: staggered tires on same size rim?

That's going to look too small on the rear.
