Re: Which Grill Do You Prefer?

67/68 is my all time favorite, but really I like all 67 to 72. I wouldn't complain either way.

For this poll though.

69/70 for me.

I don't care all that much for the fragile plastic grill, since I always seem to see em all busted up.

Thanks MarcsRX, I never thought about changing my truck to an all black grill until I joined this forum back in 06 and saw another guy's truck and thought the same thing about his truck.

I like them all really, but I prefer the 71-72 style. 67-68 is really growing on me too.

Re: Which Grill Do You Prefer?

Somewhere I read that the '67 with its classic grill nad the laid back leading hood edge was the last design that Harley Earl had a hand in for GM. Does anyone know if this is true?

As long as it's between the fenders of a 67 to 72 Chevy or GMC...I'm a fan!

Re: Which Grill Do You Prefer?

I prefer the 71/72 grills. A few years ago I seen an old ad, it was of a 69 Chevy pickup, with a 69 Camaro on a trailer. They had matching paint, and the PU had a custom grill similiar to the 72 design, with hideaway headlights like the Camaro. Looked awesome!

Re: Which Grill Do You Prefer?

To answer the question, 69/70.

But what i really wanted to say was i think gmc always had the better looking grills/frontend on the 67-72 series of trucks. And i'm a chevy fan first and foremost.
