Met the owner through a friend of mine. The truck came from California but unfortunately lived in Indiana for a short while, and the rust monster found it. The truck has all documentation from day 1 including all the warrenties for the added tach, camper and trailor brake setup. The owner let me look through the receipts etc and it still had the template for the install of saddle tanks (posting those). Bed floor has plywood and carpet over it, lifted it an could only find one golfball sized ding. Cool old truck with lots of history and only 80,000 miles!

beautiful truck....what is that small emblem on the door? any more pics?

The emblem is owners initials. the guy that owns it now is a retired minister, he bought the truck from the original owner's widow in california. The original owner was a marine and from the looks of things was very anal about saving things. The emblems on the door are the original owner's initials. The emblems are metal and resemble Ford LTD type emblems. The truck got a new motor in 1985 -still has all the warrenty paper work for it as well. Unfortunately I did not get any more pictures but I can try to get some later.
