Testing an AM/FM cassette player
Hi, I have (2) AM/FM cassette players from mid 80's Chevy trucks but not sure what wires are what.
One has the plugs on the back with a small amount of wire. Does anyone know what the power wire, ground, speaker ete are by color? I'd like to ebay these but they sell better if they are known to work. Thanks in advance, Bob

Re: Testing an AM/FM cassette player
The plug with the yellow, grey, and black will be the power plug. There may be a seperate wire for constant power, it will be by itself. Yellow is switched power, black is ground, grey is illumination. The other plugs are speakers. The lt. blue/ dk. blue and yellow/brown are the rears, the lt. green/dk. green and orange/grey are the fronts. I don't remember which side is which, though.
