Yep, that's a great find! I wish I had one of those sometimes. Maybe not for everyday but there are times when that would be handy. I LOVE going to PullAPart's. I go at least once a month..... The online inventory is very cool indeed!!! Very nice lookin truck you've got. David

Nice find. The wrong color is not terrible. I see trucks all the time that are red with blue toppers, or green with red toppers. At least you are not one of those people.

Great link DBLSPRT68! We have 2 pick n pulls here in the Little Rock metro area.http://www.picknpull.com/default.aspx But my parents live in Olive Branch, I will have to check out the Memphis pullapart next time I over there. Prices look better than the ones at the LR pick n pull.

Re: look junk yard find cheap!!

the color is great... on those times most all you cold get was white without paying alot more.. these days you can get colors for almost the same cost as white... Sometimes yards are closed on Saturday because the owners are of the jewish faith and Saturday is their sabbath

Re: look junk yard find cheap!!

Just about every pickup I've owned has had such a topper. Usually I'll paint it to match the truck, but a couple of times I've left the color factory white.

I usually kept it on during the winter months, kept snow out of the bed and provided weather-proof storage however took it off during the summer (except for camping trips). I've rigged a system of ropes/pulleys in the garage to allow one person to remove/replace the unit.

Great find.
