Shyeah. I took it over to the Referee Center today, and it passed! The stupid Heat Riser Valve Actuator Rod fell off and the guy's all "I ain't even gonna trip about that little pos." Here's the results, this is WITH a half working EGR valve:
Test:
15mph:
CO2% = 11.7
02% = 4.5
HC(PPM) = 150 (Max was 197, Average was 49)
CO% = .13 (Max was 1.6, Average was .3)
NO(PPM) = 832 (Max was 1513, Average was 592)
25mph:
CO2% = 12.0
02% = 3.9
HC(PPM) = 100 (Max was 163, Average was 40)
CO% = .15 (Max was 1.4, Average was .27)
NO(PPM) = 767 (Max was 1373, Average was 500)
YAY! So 2moro, will be filled all day with pulling off my AIR system, and getting my true duals put on. Thanks all yall who helped me along the way. (Mostly Mike )

Tim,

if you pull the AIR system and install true duals, it won't pass next year, you know?

that's the beauty of it Mike...it doesn't have to pass smog ever again. It just had to pass this one last time, and as of 1/1/04, it becomes smog exempt (it's a 30 year rolling exemption here)

How would you go about finding out if your truck is exempt. The only thing they checked on mine was the gas cap. I think that put pressure on it to see if it leaks. The biggest thing down here is window tint, front windows have to be at least 50%.

Contact your local DPS inspection department. They will tell you all you need to know.
