Cool Speaker Location Help Needed

Hey I am going to kinda box in the rear cab piller and put a 6x9 in there should it go up High or lower to the floor. I bought a pairof kick pannel speakers for the front they are a 6 1/2 " round speaker. With the right deck and speakers do you think it will be a good sounding system ?

How loud is your truck? In mine, the speakers down low get lost in the exhaust. I'm moving mine up and putting in an amp.

It's not loud at all yet (no motor) Will have a pretty loud exhust so up High would be best ?

I plan on using Dynamat thru out the cab..

The Dynamat is on my list of things to buy ($22K and still lots to buy!!). I hope it helps.

another reason to put them up high is just in case on a road trip you put things behind the seat, you don't have to worry about the speakers.
