I need to get a complete kit, with everything, for my c10. Anyone using any "shaved handle" kits, or know anyone that is using a good brand.

I want to get the entire kit, but I also want them to be trust worthy.

I was happy with my Dakota digital kit in my s-10. I put a nother popper that holds the door out and then was really happy but that was five years ago dont know what kind of cool stuff they have now

What do you mean another popper? I am new to the custom stuff.

you have your main popper and then I installed a another that is called a pusher and it pushes the door out and holds it out about 1/2 inch so it does not catch when you pop your door open

Where did you find that one? That would be a good thing, my doors latch really easy.

I used a kit that summit sells....the solenoids weren't strong enough to pull the door latch on my 64 pontiac and i quickly burned it out.......I got some Autoloc solenoids and they work great!.......very strong.....very nice product.....if you are using a car alarm, then you can wire in the solenoids on one of the timed relays, like the door lock....this will activate the solenoid when the alarm is unarmed...and open the door.....

This is the kit I bought. I'm really happy with the quality and look of the product.

I also bought the spring poppers (to hold the door open) but haven't figured out exactly where to install them yet.

I bought the AutoLoc 50lb kit to shave the handles on my '93. What a piece of crap. First, one of the remotes wouldn't program,
then the passenger solenoid burned up after 10 door openings. Because the truck was in the bodyshop for 4 weeks getting painted, AutoLoc wouldn't warranty the solenoid or the remote because the "30 day" return window was past.
The driver's side solenoid lasted 3 months.
So my $295 basically bought me a couple of relays and remotes.
I ordered 2 of the 45lb solenoids from Summit; they are so much beefier than the AutoLoc's I had to enlarge the AutoLoc bracket so the larger "piston" of the Summit solenoid would clear. 6 month's later they are both still working great.
If I had to do it again, I'd get the full 45lb kit from Summit.
