This is also posted on the 67-72 area but I thought it might be more used in this era of trucks instead of the dash cutting era of 67-72 lol.

I think 73-83 have to cut the dash as well,
I know I am in that era of Dash cutting with my 80 ! |

It's a bit easier to cover that up though . One new bezel and your good to go. Granted there is metal that needs cutting too but you can usually get away without it.

In a 73-87 any aftermarket sterio (that is not like the stock) will require you to cut the steel behind the stock sterio.
It is easy to cut and cover up, not a major issue at all. That is a nice sterio, but I already have one. I am interested in an in dash cd, mp3, dvd player with fold out screen though.
