I have a quick question are these dick brake conversion or wat are they http://www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com/index7.html if you go down to were it says 1972 and older. I was curious wat it was.

I think you need to clarify the question. Every product on the page is a disc brake conversion kit.

yes disk brake conversions.......are they that cheap .........dont they run for a bit more.....so the kits they sell is all i need to do a diskbrake conversion on my truck.

DISC brake conversion.

That is an average price, I've seen some cheaper and there are higher priced ones for better performance.

Do a search and you will see what others have bought for DISC brake conversions.

The ones you called out aren't the right ones. CALL them if you decide to buy the kit from them to make sure you buy the right kit.

Yes, those are disc brake conversion kits. Blackbirds is known for offering a economical kit that can purchased as a package or just buy the brackets and add your own components.

Give you provide a bit more info on your brake kits? Rotor size, Caliper material (I'm assuming it's not aluminum)?

Sorry, no group buy deals going on right now.
Rotors are chevy 3/4 ton rotors and 73up 1/2 and 3/4ton chevy non ebrake calipers or with caddy ebrake calipers..

I have a 1969 Gmc 3/4ton 2wd with rear leaf springs. I have drum brakes all the way around and would like to have front disc brakes...What package do you suggest...

Well, as for the front one of your better options would be to get 71 chevy 3/4 ton 2wd front parts and A arms. There is a little bit of work to be done to go disc all around. You have to be ready for it.

As for the Rear kit, it just depends what you have eaton or Dana 60 presuming its stock. I'm guessing eaton.. You can get that straight through the site or see what Randy can do for you.

So if I go wit the rear disk brake it will just be a bolt on kit ......and wat exactly do i need....thanx for the help

Yes. the kit is a bolt on kit with instructions.
I forgot to add above, with going from drum/drum to disc/disc you should also get a 71/72 3/4 booster master cylinder and proportioning valve..

You will most likely put new brake lines out back and get a set of short rubber hose brakelines to go from the solid lines to the calipers.. Which we sell as well.
