Need a little information guys.
Did these come in pairs?
Are they after market or GM installed?
If they came in pairs does anyone know of a source?

Not sure if they were sold as pairs but they can be installed on either side (or both). They are a dealer installed GM option, not aftermarket. You can still find them as NOS from time-to-time. Check with some of the smaller parts vendors like GMCPaul, Wes, Pickupman, etc. They may have or know where to locate.

I think there is a set on ebay, Blazerman put a post about a set on the parts board.

The set on ebay sold already, they were NOS for $35.00

Heck, go to your dealer. I know as of 3 years ago a dealer in Tx was able to get them at 20 bucks each.
Try P/N 988423. In the late 50's when they started making them, they listed for 10 bucks each. Comes complete with a template showing where to cut.
