The best answer I can come up with is to go to any auto store and ask them the same question. They sell a tool (which I can't describe) for about $5 that will get those handles off of there. Might be in the "help" section.
When you go to put them back on, install the clips first. Put the handles on the shafts and smack 'em. |

There's a metal clip that holds them on, you can buy a tool at pretty much any parts store for around $5 to remove and replace the clip. You slide the tool inbetween the door panel and handle and it pushes it out, it's really easy. You might be able to use a butter knife or screwdriver too.

That's a first for me, Dion.
But I humbly bow to anyone who has access to a butter knife. |

I do it with a shop rag.
If you pull on the handle and look back in there, you will see the clip they were refering to. (you may have to rotate the handle to see the opening on the clip) All it is is a C clip with the ends flaired. i just slip a shop rag back there and work it back and forth while pulling the clip openings twards the non-opening side. (if that makes sence) Either way, be prepaired to search for that stupid clip...they always shoot across the shop regardless of how you pull them. |
