adjusting TV cable

i got my C10 running, and got the hood all taken care of, now it seems to not want to upshift except for under VERY light throttle. the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are coming in a little late under normal acceleration, and the 3/4 never happens unless i back off of it. does this sound normal? if so, how do i fix it (which way to move the cable) BTW, its 2 clicks from the position closest to the firewall. TIA

Yep, sounds like it needs adjusting to me.

Try this.

Yes. If adjusted right, it will change into 4th. The way you have it now, the pressure is too high. Moving it toward the carb will lower the TV pressure and lower shift points. But follow the adjustment procedure to get it close.
