It might just be a trend right now but I think they would look better if the truck was lowered a little.

Even though I like original better than changes, the rims sure make that truck look better.

I would like to lower it some, and am open to suggestions. However, I don't want to drop it too much. I don't want to cut the original springs, but I would like a somewhat economical choice. Also, when I get springs, I would also like to get a shock that is matched to the spring rate so they don't wear out really fast.

http://www.earlyclassic.com/ call these folks and talk it up with them..they are very helpful and have quality/matched products..imho..they will provide a catolog with photos of trucks with different drops...this is the company I used..hope this helps

Looks great man. Totally changed the attitude of that truck. Those BFG's are classic too. I never get tired of looking at them.

It looks great! I really like the look of ralleys, great look for not much cost and they seem to be more of a timeless look.

I used a narrow trim ring on mine. I didn't want the gap between the inner rim and the trim ring that an 3" wide trim ring left. I am also running 8x15's front and 10x15's rear. The other reason I used a narrow ring was on my 8" front's they wouldn't fit. The profile of the rim was different. Of course you woun't have that problem 10" wide rims all the way around.

The second one is too low. I like the looks of the first one, but I think it is too low as well. I still plan to use the truck to haul things and I think that either of those will not leave enough suspension travel. I'm thinking a 2-3" drop.

The ralley wheels will always be a great choice no matter what the truck is. I would like to see some one take the wheel and have the outter band chromed as they do the aftermarket wheels. Take the wheel itself and have the outter edge chromed that would be slick I think!

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
