66 c 10 rearend
I have a 66 c10 and want to change the stock rear end on it. I was wondering if any body knows what pick a part rear end would bolt right up. I'm changing it to 5 lug like the front. i really need the help Thank You.

the only bolt up replacement is from a 71 or72 disc brake chev 10 The73-80s had the same diff maybe a bit wider,but you have to cut the spring pads off and weld the trailing arm pads on.

I put a 5 lug 12 bolt posi rear out of a 67-72 body truck (dont know what year exactly it was out of) but it bolts right up to my 65, and im using a race car style disc brake set up.

I have a 12 bolt in my 62 fron a 77 Chevy C10, works fine no tire rubbing, had to remove the perches and the panhard brackets from my old rear end, been in there for 17 years
