Because Teflon tape is NOT a sealant ... it's a lubricant.

just wanted the info, not trying to step on toes, sorry for the info i was giving was taken wrong. does that lock tight sealant get hard after you install it?

well i went ahead and tried out the permatex, i hope it works, les than 5 bucks and plenty to tighten up the whole system. it might be a little bit before i get to actually try it out..i still have to wire the whole system and figure where i want to mount everything.

The permatex should work fine, I've used it on CO2 lines before.
Loctite makes great products and wouldn't hesitate to use them. finally a good review! lol...glad to hear. i hope it works fine. i wish i could try them out tomorrow but i gotta order the wiring kit first so it may be another week or 2 before i get around to it. thanks for the info...ill post the results when i get em

havent had a chance to wire everything up, but i just checked today and this permatex stuff still hasnt hardened...? i know its not a 2 part type thing, i dont think. is there anything im supposed to be doing to harden it up?
