Controls arm lower ball joint mount oversize??
I was recently cleaning my lower controll arm and getting ready for shot blasting and powder coat! When it came time to remove the ball joint all it took was a few taps and it slipped right out of the control arm and fell to the floor and hit me right in the foot man those are heavy S.O.B.!! i figured it was the old ball joint from old age and went to see if the new ball joint where a tighter fit! The new ball joint slips on by hand till theres about 1/8" left till its fully seated so i know its oversize! Has anyone have this problem before?? What a good way to fix this!!

speedwaymotors.com sells a sleeve that fits that balljoint. get that sleeve and weld it in or buy a pair of stock lowers at a wrecking yard.
